Colour reproduction and control
Some market surveys state that colour and its appeal are fundamental in 85% of a consumer's decision to buy. Companies, their brands and products increasingly require the true, consistent and impactful reproduction of their colours in the offset or digital printing of their communication elements. CEGE has colour control and ISO 12647 certification that guarantee extraordinarily reliable colour reproduction.
The CMYK model (an acronym of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key) is a subtractive colour model that is used in colour printing and is based on mixing pigments of these four colours to create others. The mixing of primary CMY colours is subtractive (as printing cyan, magenta and yellow on a white background results in black). The CMYK is based on light absorption. The colour of an object corresponds to the part of the light falling on this object that is not absorbed by it.
At CEGE we have implemented the number one colour control GMGsystem in the world for all colour reproduction proofs. We thereby guarantee the whole process of colour transmission between creation and printing, taking the ISO printing standard as our basis and guaranteeing stability over time. This ensures a reliable, consistent reproduction of originals, as well as greater productivity and final quality.
